Deliciously Easy Pecan Graham Cracker Crust Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs (approximately 13–14 full cracker sheets)
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 8 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, chopped pecans, dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon until well combined and no sugar clumps remain.
- Pour in the melted butter and mix until the crumb-pecan-sugar mixture is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a pie plate or baking pan and press it evenly into the bottom and along the sides.
- On the middle rack, bake the crust for about 8-10 minutes or until lightly brown and golden.
- Set on a wire cooling rack and cool completely before adding your filling.
